Fatima Hospital is pleased to announce a new partnership with Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center, expanding access to comprehensive cardiac and vascular services for patients throughout the community.
Beginning August 24, Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center will provide 24/7 cardiology support at Fatima Hospital, including on-call coverage for the Emergency Department and inpatient units. The team will also provide cardiac consultations for anesthesia on the day of surgery, as well as PACU coverage and additional diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular services.
The partnership brings an experienced team of cardiovascular specialists to Fatima Hospital. Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center is led by Dr. Walid Saber, FACC, cardiologist and vascular specialist, and Dr. Ibrahim Elgabry, cardiologist, with support from Ashley Martin, NP. Dr. Gisele Saliba, a longtime member of the Fatima Hospital Medical Staff, will also continue to provide trusted cardiac care and call coverage.
For more than a decade, Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center has provided care for a wide range of heart and vascular conditions. The practice combines a patient-centered approach with advanced techniques and technology to provide high-quality cardiovascular care.
New Onsite Cardiac Clinic
As part of the expanded partnership, Ocean State Cardiovascular and Vein Center will establish a new cardiac clinic at Fatima Hospital, making it easier for patients to access specialized care close to home.
The clinic will be located in the Ambulatory Care Center adjacent to the Emergency Department and will see patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to cardiac care, the Ocean State team will evaluate patients with vascular conditions and support related patient needs through Fatima Hospital’s Wound Center.
This partnership represents another important investment in expanding specialty services at Fatima Hospital and providing patients with greater access to experienced physicians, advanced cardiovascular care and coordinated services in one convenient location.
